In fact, L-threonine is the second limiting amino acid for pigs and the third limiting amino acid for poultry. L-Threonine optimizes growth performance and reduces nitrogen excretion even in low protein diets with balanced L-Threonine levels.

L-Threonine 98.5% (Feed Grade) is a highly purified product from fermentation. Technically, L-Threonine is added based on the volume of L-lysine in the feed, with L-lysine supplementation. the ratio of Thr/Lys varies with species and growth stage.
