POM is a crystalline thermoplastic resin whose main structural unit is (-CH2O-).
According to different production processes, it can be divided into two categories: homopolymers composed of molecular chains of polyoxymethylene formed by formaldehyde, and copolymers formed by trimers of formaldehyde, such as trioxane and ethylene oxide.
DURACON® is a typical representative of copolymers, which is mainly used in mechanical parts such as gears, screws and bearings, and parts with high reliability that require chemical resistance and fuel resistance.
