PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Granular magnesium chloride is a white crystal, which is called granular magnesium chloride because it is in the form of fine particles. It has a bitter taste. It is easily soluble in water and ethanol, and is easy to deliquesce when the humidity is high. It melts and decomposes at 116-118℃. It reacts with hydroxides of alkali metals or alkaline earth metals. It will weather and lose crystal water when placed in dry air. It is a monoclinic crystal, salty and corrosive. It is used to make metallic magnesium, disinfectants, frozen brine, ceramics, and for filling fabrics, papermaking, etc. Its solution is mixed with magnesium oxide to become hard and wear-resistant magnesium cement.

PRODUCT USES

1. Metallurgical industry: It is an adhesive used to make refractory materials and furnace arms, and is a raw material for making No. 2 flux and smelting metallic magnesium.

2. Chemical industry: Granular magnesium chloride is also mainly used to make various magnesium salts, such as magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, firecracker solidifier, and is also used as a raw material for antifreeze.

3. Building materials: Granular magnesium chloride and magnesia (MgO) are made into hard, corrosion-resistant magnesium oxide cement, which can be made into artificial marble, magnesia tiles, floors, ceilings, decorative panels, fireproof panels, greenhouse brackets, partition boards, magnesia manhole covers, bathtubs, door and window frames, and mobile houses, etc.

4. Mechanical industry: In daily life, magnesia can be made into mechanical packaging boxes, triangular pads and furniture, etc., which is a good material for "replacing materials with soil".

5. Food industry: Tofu made with brine (magnesium chloride aqueous solution) is more tender and delicious than tofu made with stone, and is also used as an additive for some foods.

6. Transportation industry: Granular magnesium chloride can also be used as a road deicing agent, which has a fast deicing speed and is less corrosive to vehicles, which is higher than the effect of sodium chloride.

7. Medicine: "Brine" made from magnesium chloride can be used as medicine.

8. Agriculture: Granular magnesium chloride can be used as magnesium fertilizer, potassium magnesium fertilizer and cotton defoliant.
